1. RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

At Microcement Finish, we want you to order with confidence. Please review this policy carefully before purchasing, particularly when ordering microcement, pigments, sealers, primers or other project-specific materials.

Change-of-mind returns

We accept change-of-mind returns on eligible standard-stock products within 14 days of delivery, provided that the product:

• is unopened and unused;
• is in its original packaging;
• is in resalable condition; and
• has not been mixed, tinted, altered or specially ordered for you.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Unless the product is faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Original shipping charges are not refundable for change-of-mind returns.

Products that cannot be returned for change of mind

We generally cannot accept change-of-mind returns for:

• opened or partially used products;
• mixed or activated products;
• tinted, pigmented or colour-customised products;
• custom or special-order items;
• products that have been stored incorrectly;
• products that are no longer in resalable condition; or
• clearance or final-sale items where clearly identified as such.

These exclusions do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect products

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

If an item is damaged, defective, faulty or different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible at info@microcementfinish.com.au and include:

• your order number;
• a description of the issue; and
• clear photographs where relevant.

We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy where required.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available to you under the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the circumstances, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.

Colour and finish variation

Microcement is a hand-applied decorative finish.

Natural variation in colour, texture, movement, trowel marks and final appearance is part of the character of the product and is not necessarily a defect.

Colours displayed on screens, photographs, printed materials or sample boards may vary from the finished installation due to lighting, substrate, application technique, batch variation, sealers and screen settings.

We strongly recommend approving a physical sample before proceeding with larger projects where colour matching is critical.

Refund processing

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.

Bank and payment-provider processing times may vary after a refund has been issued.
