These Terms of Service apply to your use of microcementfinish.com.au and to purchases made from Microcement Finish.

By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

About Microcement Finish

Microcement Finish supplies microcement systems, primers, sealers, pigments, tools, accessories, samples and related products and support.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean Microcement Finish.

Orders

All orders are subject to:

• product availability;
• payment approval;
• acceptance by Microcement Finish; and
• these Terms.

We may contact you before fulfilling an order where clarification is required regarding quantities, colours, compatibility, shipping or project requirements.

We may refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where there has been a pricing error, suspected fraud, product availability issue or other genuine operational problem.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund.

Prices

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Applicable GST will be displayed where required.

Shipping or delivery charges may be added separately and will be displayed at checkout or quoted before the order is finalised.

Product information

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, specifications, images, colours and pricing are accurate.

However:

• screen colours may differ from physical materials;
• microcement finishes naturally vary;
• application technique affects final appearance;
• product coverage is an estimate rather than a guarantee; and
• actual material consumption can vary depending on substrate, application thickness, installer technique, surface condition and project design.

Technical documents, spread rates and product recommendations should be read together with the relevant system instructions.

Product suitability

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products are suitable for their intended application.

Where you are unsure, we strongly recommend contacting us before purchasing.

Different Microcement Finish systems may be designed for different applications, including internal walls, floors, benchtops, wet areas, external areas and pools.

Products should be installed in accordance with applicable technical documentation, substrate requirements and installation practices.

Installation

Microcement is a specialist applied finish.

Results depend significantly on substrate preparation, site conditions and application technique.

Unless installation is supplied directly by Microcement Finish under a separate written agreement, we are not responsible for workmanship carried out by independent builders, tradespeople, applicators or customers.

Any applicator or installer recommended or introduced by us remains responsible for their own workmanship unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

DIY applications

Some products may be sold for DIY use.

Customers undertaking DIY installation are responsible for:

• following all supplied instructions;
• preparing the substrate correctly;
• using appropriate protective equipment;
• observing product safety information; and
• determining whether professional installation is more appropriate for their project.

Support or guidance provided by our team does not replace professional building, waterproofing, engineering or trade advice where such advice is required.

Wet areas and waterproofing

Microcement systems do not replace legally required waterproofing membranes or building-system requirements unless expressly certified and documented for that purpose.

Customers and installers remain responsible for complying with relevant building codes, waterproofing requirements and applicable standards.

Samples and colour selection

Samples are intended as a guide only.

Because microcement is hand applied, the finished installation may vary from:

• samples;
• photographs;
• digital colour representations; and
• previous projects.

Intellectual property

The content on this website, including text, graphics, branding, photographs, videos, diagrams and other material, is owned by or licensed to Microcement Finish unless otherwise stated.

It must not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without permission.

Website use

You must not use our website:

• unlawfully;
• fraudulently;
• to interfere with the operation or security of the site;
• to distribute malicious software; or
• to infringe another person's rights.

Liability and Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Microcement Finish is not liable for loss resulting from misuse, incorrect installation, failure to follow product instructions or use of products for unsuitable applications.

The version published on our website at the time of your order will apply to that transaction unless otherwise required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
