The figures below show the approximate coverage for each product per bucket, based on the recommended number of coats. A complete microcement finish is built from several layers — a base or body coat, finer finishing coats, the right primer for your substrate, and a sealer to protect the surface — so most projects use a combination of the products listed here. Use these spread rates to estimate quantities, and always allow a little extra for waste, texture and technique.
